Full sheets work, but I don't think it's exactly full-sized.

I would say it's a full because it is a little bigger than a twin. The measurements in the product description are very accurate.

It's bigger than a twin, but smaller than a full/queen....it's in between, which is perfect for a truck rear area!

it is more a full than a twin. I am not exactly sure how they classify it but it fits on my fold down couch perfectly so that is more a full size when folded down.

Closer to twin, and about 60 x 40 inflated (main portion only) and another 10" for the head portion.

The mattress is 2 inches wider than a twin (41" vs. 39"); a full is 54" wide. You make the call.

Also, the box says twin size bedding will fit.

What size is this mattress, twin or full?

Any Coleman pump will inflate this bed. Since you will likely be using this where you do not have electricity you will either want a 4D Battery Pump, a Rechargeable Pump, or a 12V Pump (plugs into your vehicle's cigarette lighter).

Coleman Quckpump with 12v car adapter. Excellent product, and only $16.26 w/tax included at Wal-Mart in Fayetteville, AR.

Any pump (with attachments, which usually all pumps come with!) would work just fine!

The $10 Coleman hand pump at Walmart works great.

I suggest you get a Coleman pump; the fill valve is difficult to work with unless you use a Coleman pump.

good question, as I went through two
pumps before finding one that would work. I got the hand pump (since I really planned to use the mattress in
our T&C mini van for camping)
the hand pump did not have the right adaptor for the double valves (even though it said it did on the box)
then I got the battery one (again, the camping thing- no electricity)
I ended up getting the electric one you plug in and it worked and had the right adaptor. still, I have to hold the piece in the valve when I inflate it though.

Get a Coleman air pump because they work perfectly with the valve in Coleman mattresses. Coleman makes a manual pump (like a bicycle tire pump), a 12v pump powered by a vehicle power outlet, and a battery (4 D-cells) powered pump.

what pump can i purchase to inflate the bed?

probably a full set. it seems a little wider than a twin, and definitely smaller than a queen.

size is 43" X 74" possibly full size set.

The box says Twin size and that's what I used. Twin fits fine, until all the air leaks out the second time you sleep on it.

I purchased this airbed for use during camping. It fit perfectly in the back of our Chevy Blazer. We also purchased the Coleman 12V airpump that plugs into the car's cigarette lighter, and the mattress was able to be entirely inflated or deflated in about 30 seconds--it was so easy! You will notice that this airbed has seems to have less height than most airbeds which is such an advantage in an SUV so you have plenty of overhead room. 2 adults rested comfortably on this bed. I was so happy that I purchased this airbed instead of using just a regular airbed. I was also extremely pleased with the shipping from walmart.com. My order arrived VERY quickly and the shipping rates to my home were really reasonable.

Great Airbed for SUVs!

Used the Coleman SUV air bed twice so far -- once in the back of a midsize SUV (Jeep Liberty), the other time in a 2-person tent (REI Quarter Dome). When inflated, the dimensions are just right for both occasions, and it gives you about 2.5'' clearance off the floor. It holds air very well overnight. The double lock valve design works well in preventing air escaping when you disconnect the pump nozzle. Tried inflating with both a Coleman electric pump, and a third-party double action pump with a Boston valve adaptor -- no problem inflating/deflating with either. Overall, very satisfied with the product so far.

quality construction & versatile size

We have a motorhome with an sofa and dinette that both can be made into beds (the sofa is a jackknife type), very hard uncomfortable beds. The sofa is only 59 inches long and the dinette just slightly longer. We have looked into twin size air mattresses/beds and all are much too long. This sounded like it might do the job if we only inflated the main portion, and it fit perfectly, both length and width. My wife and I both tried it and agree the beds are now very comfortable, which any overnight visitors will appreciate. I picked up a Coleman hand pump at the store and the bed inflates very easily and quickly by hand.

Exactly what we wanted

I absolutely LOVED this product. I gave up my tent this weekend so my son and the cub scouts could use it and I camped in the back of my GMC Acadia. The air mattress was a perfect fit. I went a little extra and added a feather down topper and flannel sheet because of the freezing temps at night, but even without the extra stuff, it's really comfy. I never had to add any air the entire three days of camping. My favorite feature is how small it folds down to store away. And it has a handle. Great price, great product, and super comfy! I'll probably be buying more as Christmas gifts for family and friends.

Great for camping

Very easy to inflate. It makes for an extremely comfortable bed. We do not use the inflatable mattress as described in the sales information. We actually have a couch that converts to a bed in our Camper and the mattress it is the perfect size for our application. It deflates easily and rapidly and takes up very little space in storage.

Useful product.

This bed fits in the back of my Lexus RX300 perfectly without the pillow section inflated. We topped it with a memory foam mattress pad and it's very comfy. I would recommend this to anyone who takes road trips in an SUV.

well worth the price...comfy!

Loved it...fit in our Jeep Liberty like a charm. Also like that it has it's carrying case attached. Perfect for quick little one-or two night get outta towners.
FYI - Does not come with its own inflation pump

i decided to skip the tent and just sleep in the Honda Element on my latest road trip / camping trip. after taking a few measurements and contemplating a cheaper twin air mattress, i decided to purchase the coleman SUV mattress which actually fits perfectly. that being said, i'm barely pushing 5'7" on a good day and i was head to tow from seat to tailgate. anyone much taller than me would have to curl a bit. the mattress is great, compacts well and stores in its own, attached casing. i would recommend it to anyone interested.

Good night sleep for one adult or 2 children. Holds air well. Mattress material of good quality. Easy set up. Rolled up to size that takes up almost no space at all. Pump not included.
