Coleman CPX Lighted Tent Fan with Stand 7 7
CPX Rechargable Battery Not Long Lasting I was interested in purchasing this fan since it could be powered by a CPX rechargeable battery pack. I purchased two CPX packs thinking that would be more than enough for a three night camping trip. I turned the fan on and turned in for the night. The CPX power pack was used up in just a few hours of use. Deeply disappointed by that revelation.The fan is great for very short term use, but not practical as an overnight fan while camping. 07/11/2011
Fantastic portable fan This is really what I seek for camping trip in hot summer.It is highly recommended to buy a rechargeble coleman battery seperately.Also, LED light is very valuable and stand is folded for compact packing. 06/17/2011
its ok... My husband and I purchased this for our week camping trip. THe only good thing is that it only takes 4 d batteries. It would barely make it through one night. So actually it was not good...also the blades are made of foam and when you turn it down like a ceiling fan....which is cool...it is so loud you can barely sleep. We took this back got our money back and purchased the one that was 10 inches and took 8 batteries. THey last longer and the fan blows out more are and is a lot quieter. 07/16/2011
Great concept but just not funcional According to product specifications, the fan should run 10hours with the fan and light on high but falls way short of that with only the fan on. The fan itself is made of foam which is a poor choice for battery life given the air resistance of foam. The stand requires a fairly flat surface to work and the fan is large for the air it supplies. All in all, don't buy this fan, taking mine back this week... 07/24/2011
