Be ready for power cuts and any kind of diverse weather conditions with the Coleman LED Classic Lantern. It is a personal size lantern that can provide you with up to 60 hours of run time on low and 25 hours on high. It is a weather resistant lantern that makes it ideal for use outdoors, especially on camping trips. The Coleman 4D LED lantern uses 190 lumens when it is set on high and 100 lumens when it is set on low. The Coleman camping lantern requires 4D batteries for operation which are to be bought separately. A diffuser tube for perfect beam pattern is also provided with the lantern.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mharris127 Nice Lantern -- easy on batteries This lantern is much easier on batteries than the prior fluorescent models were. The lantern is actually quite bright for an LED model, even on low. My only complaint is that the plastic seems to be a bit light -- I wonder what would happen if I accidentally dropped it. Coleman makes a heavier duty model (it is green) but that model does not look as much like the classic gas model as this one does. The heavier duty model also costs a bit more if I recall. All in all, a good value -- just don't mistreat it. 09/14/2010
