Coby 7" Dual-Screen Portable DVD Player 2 2
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED Purchased the product as a Christmas gift. Used TWO times for long car trips with the family. Product was perfect for our situation w/ dual screens, headphones, etc. Between trips, stored the player in the original packaging in our house with batteries removed, etc as recommended. Pulled it out for use late summer (9 mo after purchase) & the DVD will not play. Contacted Coby customer support & they recommended cleaning the player lens. Did that, but still no luck. Contacted customer support again & they pretty much told me we were out of luck.I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the product and in Coby's product support. I expected it to work more than 3 times - especially for the price paid. Very possible we got a lemon - but based on our "wasted" money experience, would not recommend the player. 09/25/2010
dont bother lasted for a few months and just went ka-put!! wouldnt even turn on. very hard to change disc because you had to unstrap it from the head rest of the car, take it out of the bag and put it back in. So, when the kids are seatbelted in, that was impossible. the sound quality was so bad that they had to listen to it with earphones and i have three kids so i bought ear bud and two kids had to listen with one ear and the other one got her own set. there is only pace for two earphones, that i could. these plug into the lighter of the car and unless you have one in the back seat, this HUGE cord, I mean huge runs thru the middle of your seat in the front. DOnt waste your money, get single ones and let them hold them on their laps for half the price. 12/07/2010
