The closet doubler just has hooks to put it up, so as long as there is a place to put the hooks it will work.

I am using it in ours and it doesnt have a rod. All i had to do is turn one of the hooks so they face oppisite ways so they dont fall off.

All my closets have that shelf thing .. and i used it in all of them , my kids and our closet and they work great !

I think I know what type of shelves your are talking about. The answer is yes, it will stay on nicely. I have been purchasing this product for years now and it is a very handy gadget when you don't have enough closet space.

My closet is not a round "rod" either. But it is not an issue as of yet. It stays nicely. Hope this helps.

Just from what you have described, my belief is that it won't work well if at all that way. But, I am not certain at all without trying it.

I don't really know what youre describing but I can tell yuu that this product is really just two long metal brackets with a pole that hooks in to the bottom. It makes a U. The long brackets have holes so the pole can be raised to make a shorter space tween items. See item picture & you should be able to tell. BUT the way it hangs on to top pole is by a Hook or Curved top like a hanger. It has to have something to HOOK over. Good luck

Not sure what you have but the top of the side pieces have a curve that would fit a rod. Anything that it could hook on to should work. I have wire.

Is there any place that you can hang the two side bars, the ones that have the hanger on it.

Im not sure what kind of closet you are talking about but for what its worth it hangs like standard hangers with a little plastic tip on them to help keep them from coming off the "rod". So if you can use a standard hanger then this will work for you.

I have 12 pairs of jeans hanging from mine. It holds strong no sagging or bending at all.

I do not know exact weight capacity, but I filled mine up with hung close and it is very sturdy.

as much as the shelf your hanging it from will support. it is metal.

My bottom rack holds about 10lbs of jeans and pants.

It is a chrome assembly. I have like a dozen pants and some sweat suits hanging there right now. As long as the main rod where you are hanging it from is sturdy, I don't see any problem.

It can hold a serious amount of weight. I have over 12 full suits and 35 shirts hanging on the bottom bar and it's as secure as ever. Hope this helps.

It is a very sturdy product. I don't know weight exactly but numerous tops would probably be more than ok.

It should support the same clothes on your closet rod as it is hung from the rod.
