Rated 1 out of 5 by TinkerbellesMom Tried to put up with it, but had to return it I'm hard of hearing, so I was pleased to find this phone. It does make phone conversations easier to hear. . . except when it repeatedly buzzes so loudly you have to hold the receiver away and wait for the noise to stop. The troubleshooting info listed a dozen household items that could be causing interference, and I tried moving the phone away from them, as directed, but after the buzzing returned each time, I decided this phone was designed for use on a desert island, not in a normal household. Don't waste your time with this phone. 08/21/2012

It works very well - he can hear callers very clearly and distinctly. My only complaint is that I cannot turn off the ringer (which is very loud). But the phone works exactly as promised. 06/24/2010
