Greatest Router ever. This is my first review so please be kind. I did a good amount of research on routers,My WRT160N kept switching from 5.0ghz back to 2.4 although in N band mode only on the 40ghz.When switch to mixed mode I noticed it only stayed on 20ghz,every once in a while would go 40ghz. I wanted to be able to play my Xbox live without interruption and lag,to keep my NAT open.Reading countless reviews on amazon,walmart.com about other routers and other brands. I found myself going back to Linksys. Dual band is the way,I am not very technical,all I know it gives me consistent signal without always having to reset it like my WRT160N,have not used any other features yet. Not to much into networking. But Linksys is the best.This truly is reliable and I wouldn't have bought anything else.It was worth the money.I would recommend this is a A+ product.Oh and the step took 5 minutes,that including taking out the box,very user friendly,and yes the software that came with it worked,didn't have to go to the website,gives you complete control on your system.Im using Windows XP SP3,I have 2 desktops,one laptop with Vista,Xbox on this network with no problems.No lag experience at all.Has wifi guest accounts,I turned mine off using the linksys manager,although said password was needed,my laptop still connected on router without needing password.So there seems to be a glitch there.Only one I noticed so far. 06/09/2010
Cisco E3000 Gigab. Router Router arrived quickly from Walmart. It arrived in excellent condition. It is a bit confusing to set up because it does not come with any manuals but there is quite a bit of info online.Works great. 05/29/2010
