I saw it yesterday in my Walmart. If you shop at a high volume store, they might just be out of stock.

Agree. I had to order them on line, which with shipping makes them still a good value but more expensive. This was a great, inexpensive product. Bring them back to stores!

No, this allergy tab should not keep you up, it is a very safe alrernative for those with high blood pressure that have problems not being able to take others such as Allegra, Claritin ect.,  Hope this helps anawer your question ~

Our Walmart didn't have it either. My husband looked all over and even asked in the pharmacy. That's why I ordered on the internet and paid for overnight shipping and it was worth it.

4 mg. You find it under active ingredients on the bottle

The active ingredient in Equate: Chlortabs Tablets Antihistamine is 4 mg of Chlorpheniramine Maleate.

The 12/11 is the expiration date. Get rid of it.

The 12/11 means Dec 2011. However, actually they in insignificantly weaker.

In the number series provided, the expiration date is 12/11 (December, 2011)

This product works immediately for me when I have a runny nose.  I take two  in the  Am and that usually does the trick.  I have taken one in the evening if necessary.  I find taking two at the beginning will alleviate the problem

Better than name brand

Same ingredient and works the same as Chlortrimeton, just better priced at Walmart. Even beats the same type of product sold by Costco. Just sorry Walmart has chosen to not place this item on their local store shelves. Bummer!!

ChlorTabs by Equate

This stuff is the bomb! My allergist started me on it a couple years ago and it works better than more expensive and net antihistamines without drowsiness. Only downside is it can be hard to find. Walmart has the best price on it. I just wish my local store stocked it better, half the time they're out, and that's when there's not a pandemic going on.

With allergies or a cold which lasts more than a few days, you learn quickly to change the type of sinus medicine you use, lest the medicine become ineffective. They aren't equal. Chlorophrenamine maleate specializes in drying up the sinus cavity. Your eyes water, which makes the sinuses congest. This slows recovery, as it perpetuates mucus production.

I alternate between the Benedryl knock-offs (pink pills) and these chlortabs, so that the effectiveness doesn't diminish.

Allergies aren't the only cause for sinus congestion. If, for example, you poke your eye, the same symptoms as with an allergy or cold, will occur for at least a week. In that event, be sure to have these tablets handy. For your eye to heal, you must stay in the dark and you'll need to take at least one of these every four hours.

Whether eye injury or just plain allergy/cold, alternate after two days, or during the day,with the Benedryl knockoffs by Equate (pink pills, diphenhydramine hydrochloride).

Especially good for sinus congestion, watery eyes

My allergist actually recommended Chlortab to me a few years ago and I take it religiously. I was very upset when I went into Walmart to buy more - and they told me that Walmart would no longer be carrying Chlortab :(. I guess I start over on allergy testing and going to a different product! I wish you would leave them in the stores - I know several people that buy them.

I have been using these to control my allergies for more years than I can count - at least 25 years now and they still do the job and do it very well!!

Very SAD this was taken out of your stores, but I'm glad I can still get it online. Please don't stop carrying this product. It works better than anything else I have tried for my allergies and I have been using it for years.

Can't get in store anymore. My husband and father both take this. Don't know why the store stops selling things that people buy. Only half the cd's movies and the books now also. I quess hello amazon.

ChlorTabs is the best allergy relief tablet I have ever tried.  Gives me back my normal voice from the squeaky nasal voice that is my "warning" that worse symptoms are on the way.  Have not had an allergy headache since using ChlorTabs.  And it does not leave me drowsy
