Rated 5 out of 5★ by brueggeman73 Love it! I bought this jacket in green and blue. I have twin boys that just turned 3 years old and I ordered them a 5T. My boys have colors assigned to them so they know they are individuals and that they have their own things and don't have to share everything. One has almost everything in blue while the other has everything in green. It is hard to find a green jacket so I was surprised to find these, that they had them in stock and the right size. I like the fact that they don't cost an arm and a leg, either. The green is not as bright as shown in the picture and I am relieved. The jackets arrived today and I made my boys try them on right away. The jackets are a little big, which I wanted so they will fit all the way until spring. The coats are really thick and feel really warm. They are long so they are covering the kids' butts and are less likely to ride up very far. I haven't washed them yet so I don't know if they will shrink at all or start to fall apart after a few washes. Here is the one thing I don't like: I think there are too many pockets. My kids don't care for pockets yet and the placement is not well thought out. One velcro pocket is on the sleeve, right at the elbow, making it hard to bend the arm. The other velcro one is on the chest, which, with the jacket being as thick as it is, is hard to reach with the opposite hand. The two pockets on the bottome on either side have snaps and open up from the top, not from the side. Once again, it's hard for kids to open them because the actual opening is pretty far up and they need to hold the flap open in order to reach in, otherwise it's too tight. My kids won't be storing their gloves, tissues or anything else in those pockets. They will be just for show for us. If I could, I would remove all of them.My boys are very big for their age but I would say, it's true to size #before washing#. Again, I hope these jackets don't shrink when washed. The other thing I don't like is that the hood is not removable which is not a big deal really.I usually try to find the 3-in-1 jackets to get us through fall, winter and spring, but they are hard to find in decent colors #I don't want my kids to run around in bright yellow!#, and are usually over-priced. With twin boys at this age, we can't afford to spend a lot on clothes they will only wear for a short time. Last year when they had the 3-in-1 jackets, I never put the liner back in for the winter because it was way too tight, even with the size larger that they were wearing so this year, I thought I'd give these jackets a try.Overall, I love these jackets...so far. Only time will tell! At this point, I would recommend them. I'm a little concerned about how well they will do when getting wet since we spend a lot of time outside, but once again, only time will tell. I'm actually considering buying a second set for when the first set gets wet and dirty and I can't do a load of laundry right away.Hope this helps someone! 10/02/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by colbthompson This "jacket" is more of what I would call a coat. I was hoping that was the case and was happy I was right. It ran bigger than I expected but that is okay w/me because my kids grow fast and are on the bigger end of things. It may be big now but by the end of the season i think it will be perfect. 10/10/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Mamulik Good jacket. We haven't worn outside, but tried on. It's not very light in terms of weight, but will work. 10/13/2013
