Pleased! Bought this for my younger daughter knowing she'd be growing. So pleased. This was a popular skate and hard to find over Christmas. I couldn't even get it for my older daughter. It's perfect for a beginner skater. She loves them and skates all over our house for practice. The toe stopper is a bit cheap looking, but the wheels are good and that is what matters. Beginners usually don't use the stopper anyway. Easy to get off and on. Supportive for the ankle, too. 02/04/2011
A great happy-medium I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these skates. Heavy plastic, sturdy wheels, good bindings. They arrived on Christmas Eve as promised. (Yes, I'm a late shopper sometimes.)A few of my favorite features: the sock comes out, the size adjustment feature locks in solidly and changes easily, good wheel bearings.Some features I wasn't so crazy about: The height of the shaft on the leg, the wheels were a hard plastic and shiny making them slippery, no way to slow down the wheels for a beginning skater.In the end, we are very pleased with the skates. My little one only took them off for 10 minutes at a time on Christmas Day. 01/12/2011
