Rated 2 out of 5 by Gingers78 Has plastic parts that break easily, such as the wheels in the desk. Thus bed has been assembled for a total of four days and one of the wheels is broken! Disappointed to say the least! 02/21/2013

I mainly bought this bed to save space and have the space for drawers and a desk and it saved so much space in my room! It took me about 6 hours to build by myself and I'm a 16 year old and I built it. You can easily do this in less than 4 hours with 2 people helping out. The instructions are really east to read once you get the hang out of it but in the beginning I was like where do I start but I ended up getting everything done with no hassle. I really like the bed and I highly recommend it guys. 02/19/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Roshario packaging This came in 3 big boxes. 1 weighed 75 lbs, 1 weighed 101 lbs and the last one 135 lbs. I live on the second floor; I'm a single mom with a young teen daughter. She loves the bed but I had a very difficult time getting it into the house. Even with a dolly rented from UHaul, this was difficult (and extremely heavy) to get up the stairs. You should consider packaging this in 6 packages of around 50 lbs if you could. Other than that, this was simple (but time-consuming) to put together. Took the two of us about 5 hours total including laying out all the pieces, counting the parts and cleaning the work area before and after. It's well put together and the instructions pretty easy to follow - we did put the runners on the drawers upside down because the instructions were not very clear but it didn't take long to figure it out and fix it.She loves it! 02/18/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by wyntormoon Awesome Bed We had gotten our seven year old son a loft bed from IKEA, only to find out that AFTER we put it up, he had NO head room from bed to ceiling and it just didn't look right in the room. So after my husband had spent all day putting it together, I took four hours to take it apart, to take back to store, get store credit and buy this bed from Walmart. I wish I had seen it first, we wouldn't have had to wait two weeks to get his room done. This bed is fantastic and right for a smaller spaced room. The desk is a lot bigger than what we thought it would be, and actually don't keep it under the bed. We were able to put it between his two tall dressers as an independent desk. So the space under the bed where it would be is his "hide out cave". The bed itself was pretty easy to put together, took my husband about four hours and then we all pitched in to finish it. It's the right height for him, so he still feels like he has a "loft" bed, very sturdy, very stable, color matches the black furniture he already has in his room. The extra three drawer storage will be very handy and extra bookcase is great. The shelf above the bed has become his best friend, can put remote controls, clock, books, little figure, kleenex box, and we attached clip on lights on both ends so he can read in bed. Already planning on buying the white version for his sister when she gets bigger. :) Thank you Walmart. 02/15/2013
