It does NOT come with a cover. I have read that the cover available from the manufacturer--although it fits very well--the material is cheap, and if you live in an area that is cold in winter it may not last more than a season or two. Expect to pay up to $50 for the best covers, but some are available for around $20 or less. Good luck.

The grill grates are in four sections with a handle that comes with the grill for easy lifting.

You do have to remove at least one grate to add more coals, but you could continue cooking without removing the meat if you can stand the heat.

The side fire box has a slide draw so you don't have to remove racks in fire box.

Depends.There are four separate racks to place the meat on;so,if you have meat on only three or two,you could just not put in the racks that aren't being used,which would allow you to add charcoal easily.

The grill is four sections. You can add more charcoal by lifting just one section. Or if you are referring to the side fire box the grill is two parts and you can lift one. But, it would only be on if you were grilling and bbq ing or smoking at the same time.

No, there are 4 sections to the racks and you can remove 1 and add charcoal. You can move the meat to one side or the other. Also there is a handle included to remove the rack sections.

If you are in the market for a smoker with a side box this is it. I looked a home depot, sears, lowes and at walmart. The char broil unit that walmart has for $159 is no where near as nice as this the build quality of Char Griller. Lowes sells this in 2 parts the cost is over $200 this is a much better buy go with site to store for free shipping and enjoy the BBQ!

Great smoker

It took a little time to put together but had good instructions. We went by the information how to season to protect the unit and the paint and everything was a-okay after using it twice. Seasoning is very important so do it right from the first. Fairly good price for a smoker that did what I wanted it to do.

Had one of these smoker/grill combos in Minnesota and couldn't take it to Washington with us. Now that we're in Arizona I've had the itch to grill for Thanksgiving and ordered a 2nd one. It worked out wonderfully for me.

2nd one is just as good

This chargriller smoker proves that you don't need a 400 500 or $800 "professional" smoker. The firebox adds an extra measure for true or indirect heat. I already seasoned it and was amazed because I was skeptical if it would be even heat or if Id have to babysit it every 20 minutes. The only gripe that I have is that the instructions for assembling it were a little vague/could've been written better. I challenge you to find a better price for value I think this thing is a bargain and have looked at many brands recently. MADE IN USA!
