I have owned 3 of these. The first one, that I purchased about 3 years ago, just stopped working. This flat iron gets very hot, and gets the job done. It is a great flat iron for the money. 08/21/2010

Great! I wanted to buy this product so that I don't have to waste too much on the beauty parlor. I love it!! I have only used it for a couple of weeks , that's why I didn't put a 5 star. But so far so good. I even used it on my 9 year old daughter and her hair looks great and we live in a very humid country. I thought it may not be that good because of the price, but it's very good.. Worked wonders for me LOVED this product. It takes me about 15 min to do my hair. I'm not sure if it would be the best for very frizzy or curly hair. It works great for thick wavy hair on the highest setting. It sometimes leaves creases in your hair but not if you tilt it outward. LOVE IT 05/29/2010
