what is the diameter of the punching surface? aka: striking distance?

How much does it weigh before and after it’s filled?

Great bag got it for granddaughter that takes kung fu, she loves it. My husband and I both use it. Only downside trying to filling it with sand,took forever.

Very good piece of equipment.  Punching bag is soft enough to punch without gloves.  I wear small padded gloves when working out.

It's just what I expected,  love the color and size,  and didn't have  to put together

This is a great exercise device to supplement our home gym.  The only minor complaint is the device moves across the floor when hit.  We currently have four 50# bags of sand in it.  We may add one or two more bags in the future.  It would be a bit nicer if the opening where you add sand or water were a bit bigger.  It does take time to fill it, but you only have to do it once.

Wavemaster is great!

It's a convenient bag to use for some indoors exercise, but the only complaint I have is that when I filled the base with sand (about 3-4 50lbs bags), the support stick keeps bending when I punch the bag, which worries me since I have a feeling it's weakening the support. Besides, that and some noises it's a decent product.

Decent Product

I filled it up with water and it still moves. I added a few weights I had around the house in to a bag, draped it around the bottom and it feels better.  But I still Need to add more weighted bags to make it not move. 

Also, the bag is not as wide as I would have liked. 

Overall, not sure I would get this bag again unless it was much cheaper. I've been boxing for a few years and would have preferred a more solid option.

it is of lesser quality than i expected but should suit my needs well enough

No where in the description does it say it is fabric. You cannot punch, elbow, knee or kick without getting friction burns! You can only punch with gloves so for overall training, It's pretty much useless!
