    Customer Product Reviews

    Rated 4.2 out of 5★ by 55reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by EXCELLENT VALUE / EXCELLNET SCOPE Didn't expect much when I bought this scope but I'm sure glad I gave it a try. Don't let some of the other reviews deter you, if you do get a bad one that slipped through the cracks, walmart will certainly exchange it for you. Very good optics and holds zero forever!!! Completely water proof I can assure you. 04/10/2009
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Nice scope! I've owned this and another Center Point for awhile now. Both perform PERFECTLY!The big thing that most people completely mess up on is the Locking Adjusters, you MUST release them before making ANY adjustments OR you end up stripping the adjuster screwss. Release, adjust your windage/elevation, then lock back down with a twist. DOING ANYTHING ELSE MEANS YOU WILL "SHOOT AROUND THE CLOCK"!!! (I.E. it won't hold a zero if you strip out the threads.)The other little issue...the scope rings. Don't even put them on...grab a pack of Weaver .22 rimfire rings while you are there. Otherwise you have to remove that sillly double-sided tape and Lap the Included rings...and frankly, most people don't have the equipment or know-how to do so.As long as you remember to turn off the illuminated reticle...battery lasts quite a long time...plus they give you a spare :) 06/25/2009
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Centerpoint3-9x32 I'm from Belfast N.I. I bought this scope for my air rifle, cannot fault it for the price. I use it to cull pigeons and rats in warehouses arond the docks in poor light conditions and with the illuminated crosshairs in green or red its perfect. I highly recommend this product, a real bargain. 08/30/2009
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great product I was skeptical about this scope, but purchased it anyway. I mounted it on a Remmington 597 .22, it is very clear and accurate. I have shot over 1000 rounds with it and still holds groups with in 1/2". I have a 5 year old son who can hit plinker targets at 40 yrds. with this product. I highly recommend this product! 02/05/2009
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Good inexpensive scope I mounted one on my Marlin .30-30 after I switch the scope rings out to fit on it, used my laser borescope to get it close, and sighted it in at 75 yards. It holds a nice enough pattern that I know will be enough to kill anytyhing I shoot at, I like the option of green or red illumnated crosshairs for darker hours, and I haven't had to touch it after firing over 100 rounds. 05/30/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great Scope for Little Money I bought this scope to put on my Marlin Modle 60 .22 great gun but cheap so I didnt want to spend alot on the scope this is my first scope of my own but have used several others. Had a little trouble the first time zeroing the scope well because of my inexperiance after that no problems at all i got rid of the site mounts that came with it a got some see through sites for real close shoots. I have ridden with this scope in my lap on the fourwheeler acidently hit trees with the but of the gun and even had the dogs knock it off the couch before i got a chance to clean it and it NEVER lost zero. If your haveing a problem getting it to zero or hold zero then have someone who knows what they are doing do it for you its NOT hard and im a novice at zeroing scopes. If theres a problem with the scope its self it has a lifetime warranty for a reason. 12/03/2009
Rated 5 out of 5 Don't listen to the negative This scope was bought as a entry lvl scope for my wifes Marlin 795. Immediately after taking it out of the package, it was obvious this scope brought more to the table than some 100.00+ scopes I have bought.I laser bore sighted it at 25 yards in my driveway, it took 20 clicks up and 12 left to zero. Off to the range where is was zeroed in under 15 shots. My wife and I were both able to put rounds in other holes previously made. The finger adjustments are fantastic, I also like the clarity and crisp view. The mounting rings fit like they were made for the Marlin scope rail.I have bought expensive scopes that had bad reticules and fogging problems, this 54.00 guy gave no problems and has over 100 rounds through it already and is still papering less than 1/4 inch groups at 50 yards. Great BUY! Bought 2 more to replace other more expensive scopes I have on other rifles at home. (10/22, SKS) 06/17/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by I didn't believe it either until I purchased one. I shoot paper targets on Sundays with a Marlin 795 .22LR semi-auto. For my purposes this is a solid, high-value scope. (Value=performance vis-a-vis price.)The milliradian-dot reticle will take some study and practice to use for range-finding beyond 100 m. The CenterPoint instructions are inadequate in this regard, but there are several sites with detailed instructions that don't require a PhD in optics. On the other hand, you can get tight patterns and have good sessions without ever using the mil-dots. On the closer side, My wife can put a 10-round clip completely in the bulls eye in 3x at 25 yards--a pattern of perhaps 3/4".As far as I can tell, parallax is nil at 9x. The scope is nitrogen-filled, so fogging is no problem going from a 70 deg house & car to a 90 deg outdoor range. I don't know what winter will bring. The detachable end-caps are transparent with some blur, but I can't imagine any reason for shooting with them closed. The front cap tilts a little because of the scope's forward overhang, but I can't detect any negative effect. To sight-in, I used a LaserLyte center-bore laser for a base setting. It took me about 40 minutes of live-fire fine adjustment at the range for final sight-in, but I'm a little slow. I overpaid for my laser, which I ordered from another retailer on the web. Wall-Mart has a good price on them. Our range closes at sunset, so I've never used the red or the green reticle lights in very dark conditions. However, at dusk when the cross hairs and target sort of blend into the grayish background, the higher-brightness settings make accuracy easy. The scope is solid. The rings and dovetail mounts connect with a total of 12 Allen wrench contact points. (Wrench included.) Some manufacturers of low-cost scopes actually brag that their products can be attached with just a phillips screwdriver. No thanks. The CenterPoint just does not move with .22 rounds. My first CenterPoint had a battery compartment defect, and I was forced to spend all of 5 minutes at the Wal-Mart warranty returns counter in order to get a replacement scope. The commercials in a 1-hour TV program take two or three times that long. 05/06/2012
