Rated 3 out of 5 by 'On the level' Dave They almost got it right..... Maybe I'm weird but I expect that if you spend [$]. for a bench it should come with enough screws to assemble it, facia boards long enough to form tight corners so that it looks nice and directions that make sense. The bench slats are nailed to the stringers (OK, there was a little spot of glue)instead of screwed. I know this because I had to take it apart to cut the stringer 1/4" shorter so the facia board would fit flush to the front slat. I will concede that it is a nice design, I'm a Virgo, and used to do a lot of woodworking.I wouldn't recommend it unless the manufacturer makes some quality control changes. 05/14/2010
