This product is perfect for a starter kit for new kittens. I liked the idea of the liner for proper disposal of debris, but my kitten did not, she filled it full of holes, but with Arm and Hammer's clumping litter, it works perfect. 08/06/2009

Passed the test of my finicky cat. This was a great purchase for our household. I have an older, arthritic cat who doesn't always squat low enough when he urinates which meant I had a lot of messes to clean up. I had read other reviews about framed and covered cat pans and one of the big complaints was that urine would run down where the two pieces meet. This pan has a lip that comes down on the inside that keeps that from happening. This pan has eliminated me having to clean urine up off of the floor and a lot of the litter as well. Definitely worth it if you are looking to help eliminate mess with out having to spend a lot of money 09/09/2011
What a mess! We bought this for an older cat who had trouble stepping over the higher opening of the covered litter box we already had. The opening is lower, but too low. You cannot put much litter into the pan. Even then, it is easy for a cat to kick out the litter when covering their "business". 10/08/2011
