Very Durable! Wonderful Watch!! I bought this watch for my husband who needs a very strong, durable watch that works both day and night with no worries. This watch is that! It has the solar power which is great and then battery power kicks in at night when he's chasing bad guys through bushes! Its durable enough that it doesnt break while he's on the job! He won't wear anything but a G-Shock watch because of its great durablity and many extra features. I highly recommend this for any man who needs something he can rely on! 01/16/2008
Best watch I have ever have owned! I have had this watch for over 6 years and has performed flawlessly. It has been beat up and been trough some extremely tough times (army, construction, hunting fishing, diving, climbing, you name it!). At about the 3 year mark I noticed that the crews that seure band on were gone on one side, now they are gone on the other, but I have never had the bands pop off unless I pull them off to clean inside them! I have worn this watch daily for the past 6 years an continue to do so. I will be purchasing a new one just b/c this one is so beat up, but will continue to use this one for my outdoor activities so I can keep the other one looking new.I have read past reviews about the band being stiff... this is my resonse... it is like a great pair of shoes, it takes a little breaking in but once you do it is the most comfortable thing you will wear! This band is indestructable! (the slight texture on the outside of the band is now completely smooth do to wear and it has never cracked or dry rotted like other bands!) 10/21/2010
Outstanding Watch I was looking for a watch I could wear on a daily basis that would both look good and have enough durability that I wouldn't have to worry about taking it on and off depending on my activities. The G-Shock Resin fits that to a "T". It is waterproof, shock-proof, sets itself according to the atomic clock in Colorado each night, and has a battery that recharges using solar energy. I couldn't be happier with the product! I also am a recreational runner (20+ miles/week) and this watch is great for keeping time, both in daylight hours and at night. I recommend this to anyone looking for a tough, durable and attractive watch. 10/30/2007
Amazing invention I purchased the Casio watch because of reliability of their name, and I liked the idea of never buying batteries again. As a bonus, it is an atomic watch. I think it's large for me, but I have big bones and wear it daily. My husband, although he didn't need a watch, was jealous and requested one too, so I bought him one also. The numbers are big for my old eyes to read, it was simple to set and the instructions easy to follow. I found an unexpected bonus: At night, hold your arm like you do to read the time and a night lite comes on so you can read the time. If you want, it also has a push button light. I wear mine day and night and it's water tight too!! 10/15/2007
