good product This is my second cat scratcher like this. The first was finally scratched to pieces after about 6 years!Took this out of the box, it took 2 minutes to assemble and as soon as I put it down the (2) cats ran to it and started scrathing away and continue to do so!! So, yes, I would definitely recommend it. 05/19/2011
Not very sturdy. My cat tried to scratch this post and it only turned over. The base is not heavy enough to make the thing stay upright. 11/27/2011
Not what I had hoped for Overall I have been disappointed with this product. The carpet on it is really thin and underneath the carpet it appears it is plastic so the cats can't really sink their claws into it and get a good scratch. I will not purchase this product again. 01/30/2012
