The bed comes with a set of 2 drawers that can be mounted under either the left or right hand side to allow for set up anywhere in the bedroom. Terrible construction I searched for a long time for a good twin bed for my 4 year old, and really wanted storage drawers. I finally purchased this bed, as I wanted a solid wood bed. However I was very dissapointed. After lugging the heavy boxes home and up 3 flights of stairs, it was a nightmare to put together. The wood was good quality but the engineering was terrible. Nothing lined up, the cam locks kept falling out and the directions were not good. I do not recommend this and fortunately was able to return it. I then purchased a basic bed, the Elise Captain bed which I have yet to put together but seems much more simple and of good quality. 01/25/2012
Not Worth Buying I bought this bed for my 6 year-old. When I finished assembling it the head board was uneven. After a couple of months, the drawers' knobs unscrewed and I wasn't able to attach them back to the drawers. Also, one of the drawers came apart from the screws and wooden pieces. I do not recommend this bed to anyone. It is not worth the money. 01/24/2012
