Softer after being washed. Overall very nice sheets, very comfortable and fit nicely. I have these sheets for my own bed and bought some for my boyfriend as well. 12/31/2011
soft & cheap these are great if you like super soft, lightweight sheets. I returned some 600 tc egyptian cotton sateen sheets to Kohl's and got these instead. The Kohl's sheets were too heavy and not as soft. The only drawback is that they wrinkle fairly easily, so be sure to take them out of the dryer right away. 01/02/2011
Very thin and balled up while on the bed I thought that with these sheets being 400TC AND Egyptian cotton they would be soft and would wear beautifully. I thought wrong. When I first pulled them out of the package I thought they seemed really thin, but I figured they'd be fine once they were on the bed. Within 3 days of use they had begun to ball up around my feet, and now after a week they are full of balls on the top and bottom sheets. I'm not pleased, and for $50 (queen) I expected better. 09/22/2010
