Does not block light Curtains look nice, but does not block out any light. 06/19/2011
Nice Price! I desperately wanted taffeta silk curtains for my dining room. The walls are painted black below the chair rail, and there are black and pewter color accents throughout, along with a chandelier. After looking around, I realized there was no way I could afford the curtains I wanted ($80+ per panel!) so I found these. When I first opened the package, I thought wow, these are so ugly. They looked like a cheap pinstripe suit. Then, I unfolded them, and hung them up with holdbacks. They looked completely different, and now I love them! The fabric has a shimmer that makes it look very expensive, and the colors are all black and dark shades of silver (I'd call it steel or pewter, which was exactly what I wanted). They definitely don't block light out completely (maybe 70%), but that didn't matter to me. The slots on the back to make them look like drapes is a really nice feature. The only thing that you can't see in the stock photo is that there are thin, pinstripe-like stripes between each band of color, which is only evident if you have the curtains closed instead of bunched together. Overall, I am SO glad I bought these. They are a great value! 08/11/2011
Very Nice! These are very high quality, really nice curtains. I really like them, but they dont really look the same as they do in the picture...They definetily block out light, which is good, but I was kind of expecting lighter curtains but these are much darker and thicker, and the print is a little different. I reccommend them, they just look a little different. 07/15/2011
These curtains are wonderfull. They match perfectly with my comforter and they keep my room nice and dark. I really do like theses and glad I bought them. 11/30/2011
