    Elegant Drapes!

I cannot believe how beautiful these panels are, especially for the price! They are lined, the color is beautiful, and I really like how they have 2 ways to hang - either the rod pocket, or my preference, the tabs behind the pocket, so they look like they are pinch pleated. (Not like old "tab tops" that you can see; these you don't see.) I was considering buying much more expensive ones at Pottery Barn, but instead I got 4 of these for less than what ONE panel would have been there!

I bought six panels for my bedroom and they were VERY wrinkled when I got them out but they ironed nicely and they look beautiful. They look very expensive and elegant. Do not buy these for blocking light and noise because it doesn't really do much...maybe some but it appears to be just a thin white layer of fabric behind the curtain. It doesn't let all of the light in. I would buy them again. I got the aloe green, they look like a dark apple green to me. Definitely recommend!

I purchased 4 of these curtain panels in Aloe Green in the longer 95" size. The longer length creates graceful folds at the bottom where they touch the carpet, adding a look of elegance, definition, & the finishing touch to the sliding glass door in our livingroom... Beautiful, functional, and looking like real silk ~ they are very reasonably priced. A WORD OF HELPFUL ADVICE: These drapery panels are quite wrinkled when you take them out of the packaging. BUT YOU DON'T NEED TO SPEND HOURS TRYING TO IRON THEM!!! Here is what I did: I SIMPLY PLACED 1 (DRY) PANEL AT A TIME INTO THE DRYER, TOSSED IN A CLEAN, DAMP WASHCLOTH, & RAN THE DRYER ON HIGH HEAT FOR 20-30 MINUTES!! THAT'S ALL THERE WAS TO IT... THE PANELS ALL CAME OUT PERFECTLY WRINKLE-FREE, REQUIRING ABSOLUTELY NO-O-O-O IRONING WHATSOEVER!!! (The heat inside the dryer combined with the dampness of the washcloth create a steamy atmosphere in the dryer, causing your drapes, garments, or whatever, to completely de-wrinkle ~ without any shrinkage!) Hope this helps you out! ;-)

I already washed them but there are too many wrinkles when I received them so I want to iron them out. But I'm worried that the curtain might stick to the iron since the cloth is silk-like.

    • YOU DON'T HAVE TO BOTHER WITH IRONING!! I purchased 4 of these faux-silk panels, and I put each dry panel in the dryer - one at a time - with a clean, damp washcloth & ran each one on high heat for about 20+ minutes. And viola! All the wrinkles disappeared... so don't waste your time ironing!

    • Didn't have any trouble ironing them, although I was careful to keep the iron moving. Used the polyester setting.

    • I ironed on the silk setting on my iron and didn't have a problem. Test the inside of your hem first. Make sure you have the steam on.

    • It took a long time for me to iron them. I ironed on a "silk" setting with a little steam. Hope this helps.

    • we hung them and used my daughter's hand steamer for removing wrinkles from clothing and they looked great. I washed them in cold water on a gentle cycle and then dryed them on my lowest setting and they came out wrinkle free and still looked gorgeous.I absolutely love these curtains.they look so expensive

    • I was worried about this, too, since they are polyester, but I put the iron on a medium setting with lots of steam and ironed them from the back at first to prevent the iron from melting the actual curtains. Once I was comfortable with that, I did flip it over and iron the front side with the same method - it was fine and I didn't burn the curtains. Just use lots of steam and don't stay in one spot too long and you'll be fine.

    • I ironed them without any problems. Do a test run on the inside of one of the seams to make sure your iron isn't too hot before putting the iron to a conspicuous place on the curtain!

    • I set the iron on steam and the rayon setting and they pressed easily. I moved the iron quickly from one area the another to avoid making any one spot too hot.

    • Yes, absolutely!! That is exactly what I did with all 4 of the curtain panels I purchased. I placed 1 panel in the dryer at a time with a clean, damp washcloth, and ~ viola! The curtains came out completely wrinkle-free with no shrinkage! NO IRONING NECESSARY!!!

    • That's what I did, but on median heat and only for about 1o min. I ironed out the rest of the wrinkles.

    • Probably wouldn't get all the wrinkles out. I ironed mine, time consuming, but worth the effort.

    • I tried this when I first got them so I could avoid ironing them, but it did not work at all. I had to iron all four panels out which was very time consuming. Get your iPod out and the time will pass a lot quicker!
