Dissapointing outcome Very excited that table arrived earlier then predicted but when opened the box that had just a few dents on the carton, had a very large gash on the table top. Very disappointed had to return. Would not recommend ordering such a large item online, alot of work getting it home then having to return. 08/30/2008
It looks great in my dining room. However it arrived with a couple deep scratchs on the top - it was too heavy and bothersome to return to the store, so i'm dealing with it. looks great and have had friends over for drinks and dinner. bought the tall chairs to match. 08/23/2008

great table, but doesn't seat 8 The table is beautiful and seems to be well made. It was very easy to put together. It does seat 4 when folded, but there is not really room to put your meal on the table with you. I cannot see how it is possible to seat 8 with it unfolded. You might actually be able to physically seat 8, but good luck eating! 6 is comfortable with plates only and a little tight but possible to bring the food along.We eat with 2 adults and 2 young children (baby in high chair) with it unfolded so it works fine for everyday. Company will be tricky and will have to go buffet style. Overall we are pleased because price was good.Oh, and we were surprised that the hinges (very visable when unfolded) are a shiny gold. We prefer sliver, but I think we just over looked it in the description. Overall the table still looks really sharp. 08/05/2008
