better than online photos I bought these for the clean lines and found the height adjustment is better than expected. I am using these in the living room on side tables but could easily use the same lamp on a desk or bedside table and adjust the height so you don't get light bulb glare. The design is very similar to Pottery Barn lamps.Lamp shade quality is not great and I expect to be needing to replace then since they crease easily. For now they look good. 08/03/2010
