Sleek and Modern I was very happy to find this step can in black as it sits next to my black refrigerator and blends in. It is a nice compact size and has nice features. I like that the lid closes slowly and there is a "gripper" for the bag which allows for one to tuck the bag tight around the insert. The only complaint is it came with an 8"x10" sticker placed on the front of the can which was almost impossible to remove without nail polish remover. Really???? Why would "they" put that on it? I spent almost an hour just trying to remove it. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. 01/17/2012
Beautiful & Space-Saving This looks so good in my kitchen! Even though it takes the same size 13-gal tall trash bags as my old one, it takes up a fraction of the space. I love the silent-closing lid, the convenience of the step, and the black satin of the finish.I wish that the manufacturer of ALL products would stop adhering labels on them! This was my only (minor) gripe, getting the label off.I can live with that. 04/05/2012
