I have a front load washer and it usually is a load worth if the bag is full

My HE front loader can hold one bag's worth of laundry if it's bulky items such as my husband's work clothes. If you have a small washer, it would probably end up being more than one load of laundry.

I have been able to get over a load in each bag. I've divided them into colors, darks and whites.

I'd say just about a full load of wash. I've got a medium size front loader and it's pretty much perfect.

I find it fits a load per bag if it's just tossed in almost to the top. It can fit a lot more if you cram it.

I hold about a weeks worth of shirts and shorts in one bin, 3 weeks worth of socks and underwear in another, and 1-2 weeks worth of pants in another. I'd say they hold quite a bit.

yes. The bags slide off of the hangers and you can wash them.

They are a canvas material which you can remove the metal bars they hang from and wash them.

I don't see a need to wash the bags. The inside of the bags is coated with vinyl layer, so the fabric does not come in contact with the clothes. You can simply wipe the inside of the bags if needed.

I've not done it, but the metal frames they sit on do come out of the bags if needed. So I'd think that at very least they could be rinsed in the sink and hung to dry.

I doesn't specifically say yes or no. They are made out of canvas so I wold assume if you take out the hanging bars, yes. Gentle cycle, cold water. Hang to dry.

I don't see why not, the bar slides through for them to hang, so it would slide right out and throw them in, maybe not hot dry but otherwise don't see any issues.

The outside can be spot cleaned. Given the inside, I'd question putting them in a wash machine.

I think if you just wipe it down, it should be fine. It's not exactly absorbent material, so yeah. If you want to throw it in the wash, just take out the metal handles first.

I'm sure you can but they wont fit in the sorter itself. If you're looking for replacement bags you may be best off just getting a new one since I don't believe bags are sold individually.

No, but there is one that comes with 4 bags. Another bag wouldn't fit on the rack, and I don't think you can buy them individually.

I actually purchased this item to sort recycling items. I wanted something that would look nice in the corner of my kitchen, and this didn't disappoint. It assembled easily, is a good size (I line each bag with a 13 gallon garbage bag which fits well), and looks very nice. The bags are sturdy and are easily removed when needed. It would be perfect if there were some sort of lid or cover, but I'm very pleased with this item.

The only thing i don't care for is the smell. It has a very very strong odor. Like a shoe store or something. That will fade so it's not a big deal.

Love it but...

I am expecting a baby and thought it would be a good idea to sort the baby's clothes different from ours. Found this online, read the reviews and decided to give this a try. I opted for the free site to store shipping(love the fact that u don't have to pay additional for shipping). My husband assembled this quite easily (but told that the wheels are not very stable). The look is exactly as in the picture- a dark brown colour which I like. The contents remain invisible(again a plus) and the size is quite good(can hold a lot). For now, I am using the first bin to store our clothes, second for the baby and third one to store plastic bags. This sorter is placed closed to our diaper changing station so I can easily reach out to the plastic bags(I like to individually plastic wrap the diapers before throwing it to the trash). For me, this product has proved to be quite useful.

Great Sorter

After reading a lot of reviews for this and similar laundry sorters I was hesitant to buy this one. I got it put together with no trouble and I am not sure why a previous reviewer had difficulty with the wheels, but I was able to get them in securely - you do have to tap them but they stay just fine. This is very sturdy and holds a large load of clothes. My only disappointment is the color - I would have preferred a white one but they were more $$. Overall, it is a nice addition to our small laundry room and easy to keep clothes sorted. I like that the bags are lined with a plastic covering so they can be wiped clean on the inside.

Better than expected

As a single father, this has really helped me with laundry. no more clothes lying around on the floor in the bathroom where the cats might squat on. lol... i would recommend this 3 bin sorter...

I like sorting my laundry as it accumulates, so carts like these really serve their purpose. I use the cart upstairs, but my laundry room is downstairs. I just lift the cloth bin from the cart and tote it downstairs. I use that same bin to tote my folded laundry back upstairs. The cart is lightweight, but sturdy and rolls easily on carpet, too. I wish that the end handles of the cart were more streamlined into the overall design (so it looked less like a cart, I suppose).

Easy to assemble; serves its purpose.

I just recently bought this laundry sorter since losing my previous basket. Considering my bedroom has a lot of wooden furniture, I felt this piece would blend fairly well. It did. It looks very clean and neat, and its nice that the whole world doesn't need to see my delicates. Honestly, its a little bigger than I had anticipated, but its realistic uses trumps that. I love the fact that each individual bag has handles that you can use to carry the bags down to the laundry room, or you can use the wheel option to roll it. Overall, I rate it well, just a smudge on the pricier side.

Wonderful sorter that looks very classy.

This was the most expensive one in the store. The metal bottom was the main selling point for me versus the other brands, but omg what a huge disappointment. IT LEANS TO THE SIDE! Afraid it will break soon! Maybe it will do better WITHOUT jeans and jackets? Also wish it had tops. Hate having exposed laundry!

DISAPPOINTMENT!

So looks wonderful but if u you live in an apartment and move it around its horrible, the wheels dont screw in so the constantly fall off and it leans from side to side for 25 dollars i expected more, returnimg and buying a ceaper one

worst product ever

Obviously you get what you pay for, and this was cheap for what it is. It was missing a few parts so I had to improvise. Company that makes it closes their office at 4pm Central Time Zone which is not at all helpful for someone in Calif. or Hawaii.
Using the bin for laundry sorting, works fine but it came with 2 bags not 3, so I had to make a third one from a plastic garbage bag(really classy!).
The wheels do not stay on very well, so when you move it across the room one falls off and it skids to a stop.
Other than that a great help to have at home. If you can afford it, spend twice the money I did and get one that is industrial.
