A Great Value The size is perfect for my kitchen, between my counter and stove where I cook, it looks great and is easy to clean..I love that you can just open it with your foot, the only thing I don't like is that the removable container inside is awkward to remove when changing the bag...they could have made a little more space between the container and the outer receptacle...otherwise I really like it !! 08/18/2011
One small improvement would make this perfect This step can is sized perfectly for grocery bags (why I bought it), though I think not intentionally by the manufacturer. The design would be perfect if the inner pail had things on either end to "hook" the grocery bag handles over to hold it in place. Then when the pail was re-inserted into the housing, there would be no bag visible, but it would be there, securely in place. It'd get 5 stars for features and expectations if this were the case. 06/23/2011
Perfect for cloth diapers We use this for our daughter's dirty cloth diapers. It's the perfect size, and we love that it's square, has a step pedal (holding a baby and a dirty diaper at the same time would make it hard to lift a lid), and that it doesn't look like it holds dirty diapers.Another perk is that the inside canister easily pulls out, so I can just grab that and take it to the washing machine.It cleans easily, too, since the inside pulls out. 04/29/2011
Fits the space I needed it for PERFECTLY! I have a tight little space between my oven and the wall in which I wanted to put a garbage can. I first ordered a 10 gallon can that was way too big. Not to mention I live alone and cook a lot of produce so a huge bin would get in the way and smell before it's full. This little sucker is perfect for me and looks good. The hole to tuck extra slack from the bag is a nice touch. 04/13/2011
