A VERY PERFECT CAMERA I LOVE THIS CAMERA. IT HAS SO MANY FEATURES THAT YOU WILL LOVE. IM STILL LEARNING HOW TO USE THEM ALL. SO PLEASE THAT SOME TIME AND READ THE MANUAL. AND GO INTO THE STORE AND PLAY WITH THE CAMERA FIRST. WALMART DOESNT HAVE THIS CAMERA IN THE STORE SO YOU MAY HAVE TO PLAY WITH IT SOMEWHERE ELSE, BUT PLEASE PURCHASE IT FROM WALMART. 06/04/2009
A great camera The Canon SD 960 camera is very easy to use as there isn't very many buttons, yet it can do all you need to get great clear pictures and the movies are great. I like the wheel. The book is great for learning how to use it.Battery holds up very well in taking pictures and reviewing them. I thought the price was good. I do like the battery instead of the AA batteries that some of the Canons use. I haven't needed to charge it yet only before using it. I am still learning to use it so haven't found anything that I didn't like about it, only it is heavier than the Sony that I had. I purchased another sd card and battery for my cruise in 2010. Probably wouldn't have needed another card as you can get a lot of photos on the 1 mb card, but wanted to make some movies on my trip on the 4gb. 12/30/2009
Glad I Dropped my Old Camera I had a previous generation of this camera, which was dropped in the fishbowl. and I knew I wanted a Canon to replace it.I am easily capturing great video (took some of a waterfall in the mountains this weekend, and even the mist in the air shows up clearly) and photos are a breeze because I use the 'auto' function and change them when editing.Once I read the book, I ought to be a genius on this great little camera...and that's one of things I appreciate. I did not have to read the book to begin taking great shots.One more thing: the book is clearly laid out, so that one can use the index at the back to find how to use functions. Not true with all instruction manuals.All in all, this is a sweet little (really little, smaller than my cell phone) camera. The 'cons' listed by others, like size and that the menu is electronic and no functions are obvius on the external body of the machine) are there, but I don't think they detract. 07/06/2009
