Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for events. I purchased this item to be used for events cooking. I used it ten hours the first day, eight hours the second day, and six hours the third day. I inserted a shallow, square, cookie pan under one of the grills. This was kept filled with water. This gave me the ability to have a warmer, or steam table. Cooked Hot Dogs and Hamburgers on the open grill side. Then transferred them over to the "warmer". This gave me the ability to have food ready when needed without burning or drying. Clean up was easy. Before using the grill box I cleaned it, sprayed it with oil, then cooked it in. This pre-seasoning prevented sticking and burning. When was finished with the event repeated the pre-seasoning. The modular design is very functional. I have the griddle for the two burner Camp-Chef stove and was able to transition from pan cakes in the morning to burgers and dogs in the afternoon. Just switch the cooking device. The modular design also is easy to move and store. Instead of moving one bulky item you can move smaller pieces. Having a common heat source with variable cooking surfaces gives you a lot of cooking flexibility. If taken care of, believe it will last awhile. The fuel consumption of the stove was minimal. 07/24/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Product for a Boy Scout Troop Overall, this product is excellent. The Grill Box works very well, and the inclusion of the thermometer is very helpful to guide cooking temperature and time. There is one weakness to this product, and that is its hinges. They are exposed, and are easily bent in transport. They are also riveted into place, which makes it difficult to replace them. Better hinges and/or the ability to more easily replace them would give this product 5 stars. Our Boy Scout Troop has two Camp Chef Yukon stoves, and two Grill Boxes. Walmart has the best pricing by far. Do check to ensure the cast iron grates are not warped upon receipt. I have had the experience of having a Grill Box delivered with one of the two grates warped - and had to have a replacement grate sent to me. Once we had these Grill Boxes up and running, they have been excellent pieces of cook gear for a large Boy Scout Troop of 70 kids. The stoves and Grill Boxes are far superior to a gas grill for camping activities. Definitely purchase the carry bag for each stove and Grill Box. They make it very easy to transport this gear. In addition, the large size griddle that fits over both burners of the Yukon stove is also well worth the price. 08/23/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by No good cheap The hinges were falling off and it had some kind of oil all over it. It wasn't as well made as I thought it would be. 08/20/2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not that great Ok I don't have much complaints about the product itself because it works fine but the way it was delivered to me was just ridiculous. The box was so beaten up and had holes in it. I opened the box and packaging was all broken. Took the bbcue out and the the top cover was missing 4 bolts. There was also a dent in the bbcue lid. The steel handle in the front looked like it was used before. I bought some nut bolts from Walmart in fixed it lol, cos I had a bbcue party scheduled for the next morning and did not had any other option but to use it, I would have returned it if I had time for that. That's all folks.... I will not even open a product if it comes in a similar condition from now on. 04/09/2014
