After buying the one with the connection hoses, this is less waste, I just use the original hoses. Thanks!

I use these filters to keep the water bowls full for the rescue dogs drinking water. I also use them to water my lawn. They take the flourine and chlorine out of the water so my plants/lawn can grow without being scorched by the sun! The plants and the lawn love the filtered water!! I have the most green lawn in the neighborhood! Thank you, Camco!!

    • we usually just use one during the summer season and we do a lot of weekend camping but if you notice a substantial water pressure drop it could be time to change

    • I use my filters for a season and then replace it. I use the trailer daily as I am the park host at a local lake so a lot of water is used compared to the normal seasonal camper.

    • Every year we go up North to our 33' trailer for the week. We have been using the same one for three years now. We keep it in a cool dry place in the RV storage compartment Just be sure to hook it up in the right direction EVERY time!

    • I use water in my RV only for cooking and drinking. It seems to work well to use one filter for the spring-summer season, and change for the fall-winter season.

    • Inline with a potable water hose to the RV water connector. Don't forget to install an inline pressure regulator from the water source to the hose, and then the hose to the filter; with a special flexible short hose(sold with some filter packages) between the filter and the RV. It's also recommended to 'flush' water thru the filter for a minute before first time use. Happy RVing!

    • Place an RV preasure regulator on the faucet and then twist the filter on the regulator. Apply the RV water hose (white is best) to the filter run the water to clear any debree from the hose and clean the charcoal from the filter. Now apply the hose to the trailer input.

    • I hook mine up right after our water pressure regulator. I then run the hose to another "House Filter" attached to the outside of our RV. That feeds the RV's "City Water" inlet. I change the Camco filters every few months, as per directed.
