    No Problems Start to Finish No problem connecting the cables and initiating the data transfer from my old to my new PC. The total number of files transferred were in the range of 500,000. There were no losses or drop-outs during the overnight process of moving the files between computers.The product worked well. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. 07/19/2009
    What I expected. Very simple to use plug and play (though windows xp system will often require a download to update provided software.) Good for direct transfer of files. However my old system had USB 1.0 and that really limited the transfer speeds. Large transfers can take DAYS and the system requires you to leave both systems alone and let them do it. (turn of power management for this) I transfered everything system related and small using the cable but lost patience and finished my transfers via wireless networking, at least with that method I could play with my new toy while it worked. 03/04/2011
    Kept stalling!! I'm not sure if it was Vista but I got everything setup to transfer and it would do fine for an hour or so and then stall.Instructions say that you can't do anything like move your mouse, use keyboard or it would stop and you have to start all over again. So I set it up and left to go to work ... even turned off the screen saver. Came home and saw it was stuck at like 60%.After 4 retries, I gave up. Not sure if there was something causing it to stall. I may just use my external drives to move my stuff over. Thank god it wasn't expensive.If it works for you, great. By the way, I was transferring from XP Professional to Vista Premium 64-bit 08/08/2009
    Disappointed Sorry, but I carefully followed instructions for using this device, and it never showed the page in which data could be moved. After going through the proceedure three times, I gave up and had to load all my data manually. 08/13/2009
