Test cable installations up to 200m with the Cables To Go LANtest Network/Modular Cable Test Kit. It's the simplest and most affordable wire-mapping device for networking cables available on the market. Use it to read the actual wiring configuration for Cat5, coaxial and modular telephone cables by comparing one transmitting end to another receiving end. You can easily verify for cabling faults including discontinuity, open wires, shorts, miswiring and crossed pairs is quickly detected with the LANtest's unique LED display. Perform all the above tests on installed cables with the included remote terminator. Tests the correct pin configuration of 10Base-T, 10Base-2, thin Ethernet cable, RJ-45/RJ-11 modular cables 356A, TIA-568A/568B and Token Ring cable and more. With the remote kit, LANtest can remotely test cable up to 1000' away either on the wall plate or the patch panel. There's also an auto or manual scan for pinout indicators and a power switch for saving battery power.
