The CP TECH WAP-0003 LevelOne FreeCon Access Point is designed to meet the needs of wireless clients who use 802.11b/g wireless networking devices. This compatibility with two standards (IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g) enables the device to concurrently transmit uninterrupted data between the access points and clients using both standards. The network access point also employs wireless Super G technology for outstanding data transfer rates of up to 108Mbps. It features 64/128-bit encryption to prevent unauthorized access. The 108Mbps wireless access point has user-configurable security settings. The access point can be set up inside a switch, desktop or a router, and can easily be used with a wireless network.
