My skin is super sensitive and everything makes me break out. I was skeptical when I first bought this product. I've used the more expensive brands and I always broke out, this is the first product I have ever used that feels like I have nothing on with the coverage I get and I don't break out.

I am 58 years of age and have been using this make-up base for a good while now and I really love it; my skin feels soft and looks natural instead of made-up; it does not settle into fine lines on my forehead or in the beginning signs of lines under my eyes but seems to instead make them look more smoothed out and a bit less noticeable; I have had no skin sensitivity or breakouts while using the "sensitive skin" line of this Cover Girl brand make-up; the coverage is very good with just one application, but it is very easy to go back and touch up any areas of redness or imperfections with just a tiny dot or two of the liquid as it blends perfectly. I have dark under eye circles and lots of superficial broken capillaries which cause red splotchy areas on my cheeks and chin and I have a few areas of darkened skin on my neck (mild melasma), so I always apply, let dry completely, then pat-on a bit extra with just my fingertips and gently blend in onto the areas that need an extra bit of coverage; it always covers perfectly without looking or feeling like I have on too much make-up.

I need fragrance free cosmetics and was paying much more for a brand sold in department stores. Cover Girl meets my needs-choice of colors for my skin, fragrance free, smooth application, lasts all day,leaves my skin smooth and blemish free. Covers dark spots amazingly. I recommend this product highly! The one problem I have had is that I cannot find this "Clean" foundation in any stores any more, but as always, Walmart saved the day!

I have very sensitive skin and Covergirl Sensitive Skin has always helped my skin. It is lower cost compared to other products made for sensitive skin and is great for the skin. I love this product!!

Great product for sensitive skin

If you have problems getting the foundation out, turn the bottom upside down in your hands, and smack the top of the bottle on your palm! Jeez! I really like this foundation, it helps smooth out the redness on my face and gives me an even complexion.

Not that hard to get the foundation out

I read all the reviews and decided to give this ol' standby from my teen years another chance. I love love love that Cover Girl has a sensitive skin makeup! Frankly being in my fifties I haven't looked at Cover Girl products for a long time. Honestly I used them sparingly in my teens when I needed a touch up but my face broke out.Well, it probably broke out from gosh knows what! Who'd have thought I'd find nice light coverage (with my concealer) for everyday. HOORAY!!! The color was perfect I kept waiting for it to cover too light too dark or orange---it stayed true to my fair skin.It is not heavy duty matte coverage for women who are expecting that and the botttle was problematic.I concur! I know women of a 'certain age' think they need a blanket of foundation but if you have minor skin imperfections this will cover smoothly and blend well.I used my department store powder which actually doubles as a matte foundation if I use a wet sponge-which I don't.Thanks Cover Girl!

Back to the summer of '77 only better!

Covergirl clean is almost avarage, it's smells like astringent, but if you get 1 drop of water on it, it runs. I was so embarassed one day when I used and was crying, and where my tears were, the makeup was gone! It totally exposed my irritated skin!

I'm so disappointed about this product. I've used fragrance free water-based for 30 years, thought this was the correct new one, and I can't even get it out of the bottle it's so thick. Also, the color has changed. It is not the same shade as before.

Wasted money

I have been using cover girl clean make-up for over 45 years - Fragrance free for as long as its been available. This new Sensitive Skin make-up is not fragrance free. It has a sickening scent that I can smell on my skin all day - it doesn't go away.
