Rated 5 out of 5 by skierbri10 These are essential to your campout Very strong and absolute must have for camping especially in rocky areas. Buy a good hammer and hammer them in as far as you can. I dont know for sure, but I dont think you can bend these. Held down my tent and a gazeebo during windy weather. I bought more after the last trip since I lent some to my friends and the flimsy ones that came with the tent were bent. These are needed no questions asked in Colorado. 07/29/2010

If you need a back packing stake this is not it (too big and heavy) They are solid metal with a retaining clip at the top. When you pound the stake in your hitting the metal so hopefully the clip will last a long time. These are a good buy and should last a lifetime. 07/25/2010
