Rated 3 out of 5★ by Geozen Great for home squatting and incline bench. I primarily bought this for the squat rack but was able to replace my old dilapidated bench with this piece of equipment. It's nice that it is 2 pieces so it makes it easier to move out of the way when not in use.My biggest complaint is that for Flat Bench the safety catches (which are great to have when you are squatting to failure!) where you need to set the bar are very long and slanted backwards. It makes it really awkward trying to un-rack the weight by yourself (you have to start from behind your head because the bar will hit the racks if you are too close to them). If you have a lifting partner at home then you should be able to use this bench to its fullest. Personally for me being able to squat at home supersedes the awkward flat bench, and being able to do incline/ decline bench, as well as lower weight leg lifts (leg rollers have around an 85lb suggested weight limit) at home is also a plus.I would suggest looking into something else if the Flat Bench is your biggest draw here. If you are looking for an affordable squat rack for your home I would definitely buy this because that part is awesome. This price with the bench is comparable to any other squat racks in this price range that I was looking at online.Good luck with your purchase. I'll keep trying to get the best out of this piece of equipment every day. 02/12/2013
Rated 2 out of 5★ by polofox86 Ideal for light squating and light benchpressing I bought this product thinking it would be great for bench pressing. After I fully assembled the bench, I soon realized part of the frame rail was welded on backwards. Now that the frame is wrong, the bench is angled downward instead of being flat. The provided safety catches are way too long to be used properly. I have to sit further from the bar and roll it on the catch till it reaches the end. Another down side to this product is the weight limitation. Had I known the bench can only support a 200lb user weight and a max of 300lbs (max 500lbs user+weight) on the bar I would of never wasted the time buying the bench. I have been emailing and calling Cap Barbell for a replacement frame part but haven't received feed back. I even went as far as enclosing pictures of the frame and pictures of what it should be like. If you are over 200lbs and plan on lifting more than 225lbs, this bench is not for you. 03/25/2013
