The length of the loading sleeve is 9.5 inches.

750 lbs....so if you split that by the largest plates then three 100 lb plates and two 25 lb plates....so I would say between seven and 8 inches of load sleeve if you can load 750 lbs...and if it allows for collars the sleeve is probably about 11-13 inches as a whole but loadable sleeve is probably max 9 inches of that and suggested 7.  Standard 2 inch plates usually have a center that&#39;s about two inches so my theory of it being 4 plates per side for the 325 lbs split is why i am guessing at all...because you can&#39;t get a plate that weighs a hundred pounds or more that is under two inches in the center in most cases...wagon wheels and special Olympic balanced weights and other special cases excluded. You can get 100 lb standard cap plates at Walmart....so my suggestion is they provide as CAP the ability to in congruency use thier purchasable equipment to load and collar the hex bar and the cheapest and easiest minimal load is 3x100-1x25(2).  Most 2 inch bars have between 7-9 inches of loadable sleeve and this is why I guess this bar does as well and that it&#39;s the lesser because it carries 750 lbs not 1000 lbs and again- loading 45 lb weights on a three foot long sleeve is not convenient, normal, more balanced a load, or accurate a weight to lift or measure or expect to be specific or load calibrated.  So...yeah basically look at the specs and the CAP plates...they aren&#39;t going to make a bar based on the idea or ideal of putting seventy ten pound weights on it...and two twenty fives...they are going to project the minimum of the highest plate and max load capacity to a standard size sleeve for that bar and it&#39;s material.  You can also check if there&#39;s one in store near you and go measure it.

I have been working out for a year using various routines for my legs. So I got the hex bar to add more variety. And I can tell you that it hits the quads like no other exercise! I thought I had been working my quads well. But my first rep with the hex bar told me otherwise! I am looking forward to training with this equipment more often. I recommend to anyone who is serious about training their legs.

The Cap 2" Olympic hex bar I bought is really nice. Knurled grips and solid construction. The price was right for me too.

OLYMPIC 2" HEX BAR

This is a great addition to my home gym. It's  incredibly sturdy. The price was beyond reasonable compared to the 300-500 dollars for others.  I had it in 3 days and I only went standard shipping.   I have absolutely no complaints. I would recommend this to anyone looking to add a hex bar to a home gym for not a lot of $$$

Awesome equipment

Got it bc my 24 hour gym didn't have it.  Is nice because you can use the raised bar or flip it over to get really deep.  Well constructed. Already had 500 lbs on it no problem.  Guaranteed to get you yoked.

Nice piece of equipment

Recently purchased this bar for my home gym setup. I beyond impressed w/ the quality & craftsmanship of it. For the price,  I just can't figure out why my gym doesn't have 2 of these for use.

Excellent BAr

Very accurate most of the reviews that I read to purchase this Hex Bar. I have problems with my back so it helps a lot to be able to do Squats and Deadlifts and protecting my lower back. Still to early to say but up to the moment am very satisfied. I am not the person that is planning to do very heavy lifting so I don't worry if you can add several hundreds pounds. I train for health and average strengh and not to become a bull!!!!!! The paint is not very good but I don't care as it performs very well.

As expected!!!

Been looking for bar like this. Saw Walmart had it and cheaper than everyone else. Got it thinking it was a cheaply made bar. I was impressed. The bar is solid all the way through. Heavier than any other bar I've gotten from Walmart.

Trap bar.

This is a great bar.  Excellent for shrugs and deadlifts.  I was using an Olympic free weight bar and it was hurtin my lower back.  With this bar, I can lift heavier weight without any joint pain.  I would definitely recommend this product.

Great bar!

My biggest complaint about the the bar is the tepid bar knurling. I prefer something more aggressive. Knurling should firmly grip your hands to the bar, and the texture on this bar just does not do that. I don't have faith the knurling will hold up through years or bar use. 

Other than that, the bar is great. It'll hold 5-6 plates on each side. It's probably as good of a deal as you're likely to see for $84
