No it is not vinyl. There is no vinyl on it. It is 100% iron with a beautiful finish

no! don't buy vinyl, it will crack and peel. these have a coat of a gloss black enamel. it will lose its sheen and scuff a bit over time and use.

All of the CAP brand kettle bells are made of iron, and are painted with a black shiny gloss enamel. I have several and have not had a chip or problem after several months. Don't get vinyl kettle bells, they split and get dirty. I recommend these.

You should have plenty of room for two handed swings. I have quite large hands and the CAP 35lb kettlebells' handlles fit my hands, two handed, just fine!

Yes, you should have no problems using this kettlebell. The handle is thicker than more expensive models but that's the only downfall.

I have the 35 pound and just ordered this one. The handle is indeed thick, but I personally like the size of it. I had a 20 lb and the handle was a lot thinner, and I didn't like it as much. The 35 lb one is great for 2 handed swings.

My hands are not big and I can use 2 hands.

I have average size hands for a woman and I use it for two-handed exercises. It may be too small if you are a man with very large hands. I did see some 35 lb size at Big 5 Sporting Goods 2/22/11 on sale for about the same price with a very wide handle (which at the time I found odd but now it makes sense why it's designed that way.)

Yes -- I have no problems and I use a variety of kettlebells almost every day. It's wide enough for two hands -- my hands are average size for an adult man.

Yes. It's very comfortable for two-handed KB swings without being too wide/awkward.

I think it is. I do two-handed swings with it, although I cannot fit all of my fingers. I'm not an expert, but I don't really see the need to have all my fingers wrapped, specifically my pinkies. My grip ends up something like the video.

hmmm. hard to say. Big thick handle, but kind of bumpy near the bottom so could be welded?

on mine, if it was welded, they ground them down. being a welder myself it seems a single cast. looks like they just ground it down really quick to make it look better.

would be a large waste of money to grind it after welding it honestly.

Not real sure if they're iron beneath the coating, but I can say there's no welds.

The kettlebell is single cast, and any seams are machined off. Then an enamel coating is added to further smooth the surface. There are no welds on this item
