Namely two-handed kettlebell swings.

  • A. Unless you have very large hands you should have enough room to comfortably perform two-handed swings.

  • A. I think it is. I do two-handed swings with it, although I cannot fit all of my fingers. I'm not an expert, but I don't really see the need to have all my fingers wrapped, specifically my pinkies. My grip ends up something like the video.

  • A. Yes. It's very comfortable for two-handed KB swings without being too wide/awkward.

  • A. Yes -- I have no problems and I use a variety of kettlebells almost every day. It's wide enough for two hands -- my hands are average size for an adult man.

  • A. Yes, but I have smaller hands. Go try the Golds Gym bells at your Walmart store, and if that works then this one will also.

  • A. I have average size hands for a woman and I use it for two-handed exercises. It may be too small if you are a man with very large hands. I did see some 35 lb size at Big 5 Sporting Goods 2/22/11 on sale for about the same price with a very wide handle (which at the time I found odd but now it makes sense why it's designed that way.)

  • A. I have the 35 pound and just ordered this one. The handle is indeed thick, but I personally like the size of it. I had a 20 lb and the handle was a lot thinner, and I didn't like it as much. The 35 lb one is great for 2 handed swings.

Received damaged - had two large chips (quarter size) in the coating. Obviously, these are not just iron with a coat of paint. Looks like a cement or plaster coating under the paint. Check for damage!

I bought this Kettlebell in a set (20,25 and 30lbs) for $79. This is a great price at a $1.05 per pound. Some of the "elite" kettlebells cost over $2 a pound. The differences are noticeable however. The bottoms and handles are smaller, not as round. So if you're doing anything from the plank position (eg - push-ups), balancing is difficult as these bells tend to roll. Also, the handles are not as wide, so if you're doing an exercise with 2 hands in 1 kettlebell, it is a little uncomfortable. Finally, these are more of a glossy/painted finish, so they do chip if they bang. No big deal, but the higher cost cast-iron bells don't chip. Overall, they are a great price for the product!

This is a no-gimick, basic kettlebell for strength training. The handle is thicker than the more expensive ones you find at Dick's or Sports Authority, but the price, and a serious workout, this is a great value, at about 40% cheaper than other comparable brands/weight.

These kettlebells are heavy duty, cast iron. They are not rubber coated, they have big sturdy handles. People with smaller hands might not like the larger weights. Also, they aren't really fully stable for doing pushups because the flat on the bottom is not real big. You would be pretty high off the ground anyway. I don't care because I do pushups on the floor. The value on these kettlebells is excellent for the money, I have not seen them lower in price.

Fantastic Buy

We live in a fairly small city and it's extremely difficult to find any kettlebells that are over 15lbs. I couldn't believe just how expensive these things are when I started shopping around online! $60 - $70 a piece, I wasn't ready to spend that much on each one. When I found this online through Wal-mart I bought it and I am totally happy I did. It's literally half the price you'll find anywhere else and worth every penny. Another reviewer mentioned a thicker handle, this is true but I'm a pretty petite female and I have no problems using this kettle bell. Shop no further, this is a great buy!
