Good, but doesn't work smooth I had the assembler at the Wal Mart store put this together, and it always gets stuck, always jams, I don't know if it was the way it was put together or what, the desk has the same problem, but I put that together. I think it is just the desk! 02/07/2008
nice file cabinet great looking and solid wood file cabinet. not too expensive, but the shipping was. very heavy when lifting and putting together but worth it cause it's very nice. 03/16/2009
Very nice lateral file The look of the file is very nice, though it is not as deep as the matching desk. It is the same height which is very nice, but you have to pull the file out from the wall to match up with the depth of the desk from a front view. The top of the file and the drawers do scratch VERY easily, but otherwise it is a very nice file and we love it. Holds a ton of files and we put the printer on top of the cabinet. 02/08/2008
Pathetic THis lateral file is made of particle board and the finish is plastic, and the slightest ding causes a very obvious mark.Add to that, it was missing pieces and had too many of a very similar but wrong piece.For the money, it is not worth it. The company quickly sent me replacement parts but then the drawers wouldnt fit and it was very time consuming to put together.I am completely dissatisfied with any of the pieces in this line of furniture and i took it back. I bought the desk and hutch and there were scratches and missing pieces on both of them as well. 05/11/2012
