Rated 4 out of 5 by Nina Attractive, sturdy, affordable bookcase I was very please with this bookcase! The color (Mocha Cherry) is exactly what I wanted, a dark wood that has a reddish-cherry tint to it. I didn't find it very hard to assemble (although I've been assembling my own small pieces of furniture for quite a while). All the pieces and hardware were there and intact and the instructions weren't so bad to follow. The dimensions are also perfect for me as I needed a thin but tall bookcase to fit in my bedroom. They shelves are very deep, enough for 2 rows of average sized books or a row of books and decorations in front of them. One thing to keep in mind: it is VERY heavy; the box it was delivered in was 100 pounds! I suppose this is not a bad thing if it makes the bookcase sturdy. I've only had it for about a month with books on every shelf and it seems to be doing fine so far and it looks great! 07/09/2009
