Rated 5 out of 5★ by Wads0912 Suprisingly shocked I was afraid it would look cheap, but it is made well and looks wonderful in our living room/bar area 11/16/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Mos2 Very Good Product- but a bit pricey This is a beautiful and solid piece of furniture. The box weighed 117 lbs so it is a 2 person project at least to get it in the house. I am a woman, and I assembled it alone. Directons are not super clear so there may be some trial and error in assembly. The back panel is not stained as some other reviewers noted - but you can easily do that if needed. I wanted a unit with doors and with a place for the sound bar and this fit my needs very well. I am very satisfied- it looks great in my living room. I did install a set of furniture sliding feet to make it easier to move and that helped a lot. The cost is a bit high for a put together piece that is not completely finished and not solid wood, but I do not regret buying it. 12/22/2011
Rated 3 out of 5★ by HardyK Beautiful but a Nightmare to Put Together The stand arrived and I began putting it together. I am a single woman and I saw the review about all the parts however, I felt as though it wouldn't be that much of a challenge. The desk arrived,NOTHING was assembled,Every screw, peg, and piece has to be put together and the directions aren't much help.It is very easy to glue or screw something in the wrong place which is what I did,I called and they sent me a replacement part.I recieved the replacement part and it is the wrong part.If I could pick this stand up and put it in my car,it would go back TODAY!!!!I am anxious to see it put together b/c it appears to be a beautiful stand but it's not worth the headache. 01/11/2012
Rated 3 out of 5★ by ScottB2 Recommended with reservations due to quality issue This was delivered by FedEx and the box was in decent shape. However upon removing the contents the center shelf had a 4" crack in the veneer. Also, the veneer was peeling off the top front edge of the top shelf. Some other pieces had minor dings or scratches. Wayfair ordered replacement parts from Bush. Bush delivered those parts from Pennsylvania to New York. It took 11 days. I open the box and the replacement top shelf has 2 minor dings- right along the front edge that everyone sees. Bush customer service responded by email and was apologetic. They offered to send a third shelf but I declined. I took a bit of stain and just touched up. They disappeared. I wasn't willing to wait again and deal with the reams of Styrofoam and paper to have to cut-up and dispose of. Speaking of, I'd suggest opening the box in a garage. Get out a vacuum, a dust cloth and spray as it is pretty messy unpacking all the pieces. I will say I ordered the Bush Cabot Corner desk and hutch from another vendor and they arrived in better condition. I've just ordered the matching Buena Vista bookcases. We'll see how that goes. The finished product looks pretty good. I had to fuss with the glass door hinges a lot to get the top and bottom edges to close flush to the cabinet. To set expectations you really need to overlook minor scratches and dings. 01/26/2014
