I have made 10 xmas stockings already and it has no problem with multi layers of material. very easy to change out stitch patterns. A simple machine with lots of stitch options and well worth what I paid. lite and easy to move. I have a very expensive n heavy New Home and it wasnt working right for me to have it fixed was more then to have bought this. so less my time, fuel, and travel I decided on this one n I am more then happy. 12/16/2012

The instructions are very straight forward. I have had this machine for about two month now and I am sewing like a pro. I also like that the threading instructions are not only in a booklet form but are painted on the the machine itself. I love this product and would defiantly recommend to others. 01/06/2013
