When I checked the price in the market I couldn't believe it. My previous experience with much expensive and known brand was very bad. Recently I bought this Brother model. I finished sewing a pajama and love the stitches which are so firm unlike by my previous one. The model though says it has 10 stitches but actually has 6 stitches mainly. Highly recommend it for people who are beginners or just need a simple machine for straight stitching and few other options. Love it! 10/31/2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by pixidance Wonderful Machine I'd had this machine for 3 years now and it gets used fairly regularly. I've never had any problems with it. It works like a dream. My only complaint is the removable spindle. WHY? If it gets lost you don't seem to be able to replace it. 09/19/2011
