I think it’s probably because I have the black one, it just seems like it was too much black going on with the long sleeve and all. My husband thought it looked like a funeral dress. Or maybe it’s just not my style. I think the other colors would have been good though, so can’t say comment on that. I wish the bottom portion was a straighter cut; it is a little more flowy. I do like that there is an elastic band that separates the top and bottom portion (which is then covered by the belt); it seems to add overall style since it shows off the waist more (slimmer look). 03/21/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by sammie0981 Nice dress but has some flaws The dress itself is really cute amd very comfortable. The material is very light so it'll be good for summer. I ordered it in black and what I did to add some color was leave the first few buttons open and then add a colored cami underneath. I was a little disappointed becasue when I got my dress it was already missing a button. The loops for the belt are extremely thin, it's more like a piece of thread; both of mine are now gone and that was just from trying the dress on. My biggest problem is the sleeves. Even with an XL, they are too tight. I'm trying to figure out what to do about it becasue I don't want to have to wear the sleeves down. I think overall the dress is a great buy and I would recommend it. 04/12/2013
