Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing I love this set!!!! No joke, it really is amazing. I'm really glad that I bought this. I would totally recommend reading the first two books first, though. 01/21/2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by Ugh! What happened! Wow, how could something start off so good and then go so wrong! Like many fans I eagerly waited what felt like forever for the 3rd installment of "The Rider Returns"(what I call them) to come into publication. But be careful what you wish for! The book starts off well enough with a damsel in distress rescue along with fight scenes, but then slowly settles into quicksand. The book just goes off rambling on and on unnecessarily! The action dries up and it feels like everything is a set up for the next book! Truely disappointed with a series I came to love. I couldn't even bring myself to finish the last 3 chapters. Save your money and watch Dragonheart instead! 05/14/2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by not bad... but the series seems to be going downhill... 08/11/2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by brisingr I loved this book it held me captivated until the very end. It had very good balace of hate, laughter, fear and bravery. I loved the way that the author let us see into other peoples world besides Eragons. It was exciting to see what Angela had predictied in the first book was repeated not once but twice to Eragon in this book. It was a very good book and cant wait for the fourth book. And wal mart has the best price anywere believe me I looked at all other stores. 04/03/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by brisingsr I bought this book for my husband as a surprise or when he got back from wlc training and it cost lik almost $30 to recieve it a few days before he got home...he ended up really loving the book and wanted me to write so on here...but he said it was worth the amount that i paid and for how big of a book it was...he has almost finished the book and would love for another one to come out...he has never much cared for the hardback copies, but still he was the happiest i have seen him in a while...thanks to the writer of the book...i hope that the writer comes up with some other books that my husband might like though most times he is hard to please do to the fact that he is very picky when it comes to books and whatnot...thanks again 05/15/2009

Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome!!! To me this book was the best of the series...thus far anyway. There's a lot of twists and turns and new found information. I couldn't put this book down!!! I finished it in like 4 days. lol. all 748 pages!! it is best to read all three books in order that's what took me so long. lol. I never got bored of reading it. and am anticipation the release of the 4th!!!! 02/09/2009
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not a bad read This book, though nowhere close to the calibur of writing that we are used to with Tolkien, was not inherently bad. It had a good plot and the storyline was enjoyable. I don't mind long books, as some other reviewers do, and found the 700 and some odd pages nice. The book did have the ability to get one lost within the story, which I like. Overall, its not a bad book and you cannot beat the Walmart price, trust me, I looked. 01/26/2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Youth Book As good as the first two books in the Eragon series. The purchase price through Walmart.com was the best that I've seen. 01/16/2009

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brisingr Could not find the product in stores. Finally found it on Wal-Mart site. I was only looking for soft back but found hard back, which I preferred. The price was excellent. The book arrived quickly. 12/27/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by An Excellent Read This book is a great 3rd edition to the Inheritance series. It is to be the 2nd to last book, but as fans we all hope it continues after his war with Galbatorix. The characters are defined a lot more in this book, and dive into their personalities. Questions are answered and the fight continues. 12/20/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Book This was exactly the book I wanted. The price was low and the delivery charge was less than expected. I was very happy with the purchase from the Wal-Mart website. I would definitely shop at this website again. 12/17/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Couldn't wait to get started reading I bought this book for my 14 year old son. He has read Harry Potter books, as well as Eldest, etc. He was begging me to buy this book for him before it even came out. Thank you for keeping him interested in reading. He started as soon as he got it. Went in his bedroom and didn't come out for hours. Great!! 11/24/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Oh so much fun for adults to read, too! 11/20/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by It was a wonderful installation to the Eragon trilogy, but I'm rather impatient to see how this trilogy is going to end. I hope Christopher Paolini will end my anticipation soon! 10/31/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by An Awesome Read I purchased the book for my husband. He has read the first 2 in this series and was awaiting the third to be published. He has enjoyed reading the third & was 'shocked' to find that there will be a fourth. Now he is in waiting AGAIN!! Christopher Paolini is truely a very talented writer. My son, 11 years old, has now took interest in this series of books & has started reading the first, Eragon. I HIGHLY recomend reading all three!! 10/30/2008
Rated 4 out of 5 by Brigsing this product was exactly what i had expected. It was hardcover bound and in excellent condition. My two sons have enjoyed reading the book for both school and leisure enjoyment. The book is a sequel to another book that is just as enjoyable. It is very long and for older readers. My son's had many great things to say about the book. i'm not sure that too many girls would feel the same way about the book's content. 10/28/2008
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty good this book had a kinda slow plot, but it was good anyway. 10/28/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome series I loved the first 2 books in the series, and was counting down the days to this one!! i bought it the day it came out from walmart. I recommend that you read the first two books before this one or you might not know what is going on. this was a quick moving book which i finished in 2 days. I am anticipating the fourth and final installment!! 10/28/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by An excellent series of books I have really enjoyed reading this series and though I haven't finished reading Brisingr yet, it is so far just as good as the first two books of the series. Someone gave my 11 year old son the first book, Eragon, and I ended up reading it along with him and was soon hooked. We both really enjoy these books. 10/27/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best value we could find and our son loved the book. 10/23/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by this book so far is great and the price was very good 10/18/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by pretty good book I enjoy reading what Eragon is up to, but I wonder if this book didn't move along as fast as it could have because the author wanted a fourth book out of the deal. It's a tease, but if I were the author I'd want to make the most of my good fortune as well. 10/17/2008
Rated 1 out of 5 by I really did not like this book it was a let down it was not worth the money nor my time I don't see it makeing best seller I don't think Christopher Paolini even wrot it! it was nothing like the frist two if it was not for me juat wonting to say I finsh the book I would not be able Ido not recommend this BOOK! 10/16/2008
