    Great Value Before choosing this headboard, I was comparing all the black bookshelf headboards I could find online. I'd almost decided on another at Walmart when this one became available - they look almost identical but this one was almost $70 cheaper. I went with this one.It was actually better than expected for the price. It wasn't too overly difficult to put together (myself and a female friend did it in a timely fashion) and the laminate is very nice. It even has some decorative trim - which is the only part that isn't VERY sturdy. One man shoved the completed headboard up the stairs upside down without having to worry about the whole thing collapsing back to pieces. The stability board that goes in back is thicker and much better quality than any I'd put on desks, bookshelves, etc. before too.And for anyone else that wondered - books fit. The two side shelves have inches to spare over even hardcovers. The middle shelf can be adjusted to fit paperbacks on *one* shelf... and the other (the bottom, the way I put mine together) has room for tissues, remotes, clocks, etc. 02/02/2010
    Good looking and solid The headboard was assembled easily and quickly. One thing I would have liked to see is pre-cut holes for wires to be fed into the compartments, but that is minor. The headboard is very solid and well built. 02/13/2010
    Great Value I've been looking for a headboard for awhile. Living in Maui, there aren't too many furniture stores, and I didn't find any headboards. I found one in Kmart one day which gave me the idea to try walmart.com. To my surprise, there were hundreds to choose from. I wanted a black one. This one was as nice as the picture. Easy to assembly and well worth the price. I just love it! Thank you Walmart... oh. PS. no site to store shipping available in Hawaii, but the shipping for FEDEX was only $19.97 and it weighted 70 lbs. What a bargain 02/21/2010
    Nice piece of furniture Easy to build, directions are precise and simple. It is a bit lighter than the king size one but still heavy. Two people should move into it's location. 10/04/2011
