Neat 'Bumper'! I really enjoy this 'bumper' for my daughter's crib. I like the idea that it's 'breathable' and reduces her risk of SIDS. Plus it looks very streamlined on her crib rather than the bulky, poofy, typical bumpers. No, this will not protect her noggin if she bumps into the crib slats, but I'd rather deal with a bruise on the head than a suffocating child!I will admit that it took me longer than it should have to install this bumper. After I started putting it on I realized I had it on the wrong way, then when I got it on the 2nd time I noticed that parts of it seemed a little 'baggy' so I redid the whole process, intertwining the bumper through the middle slats on each long end. That solved the problem. Once I got it all in place I was very happy with the end result.Easy washing instructions and good value. Also, I did not choose the 'site to store' option and paid a little bit for shipping--all worth it because it arrived only 2 days later, and I didn't pay extra for faster shipping! 08/04/2009
Not at all what I thought I was getting. First of all this product comes in two pieces one longer pieces that wraps around the sides and the back of the crib, and then a shorter on that covers the front. I don't like it because it leaves two big holes so my little girls binky could still fall out. And now she has figured out how to pull the veilcrow off so the slip keeps coming off. It works but I don't think it is worth the price. But that was just me. 04/03/2010
Love it! My daughter is now two months old. She learned how to turn around in her crib when she was about a month old and we didn't use a bumper because of the risk I've heard from SIDS. One morning I woke up to her screaming because her legs were stuck through the slats of the crib, so I had to get something. I ordered this and love it. It was easy to put on her crib and I love the color. I no longer have to worry about her feet getting stuck anymore! 01/15/2010
Fell apart on first washing. I hate to give a one-star review, but this bumper didn't make it through the initial washing, in spite of the fact that the instructions state it is machine washable. Upon removal from the washing machine, I found that the stitching of the hem had come apart and opened in a large section. I really want to use a breathable bumper, so we will return it and try again with another. Hopefully we just got a defective item. 01/01/2010
