    The Pioneer 202 Metal Detector uses modern technology to help identify many different buried objects. This treasure hunting metal detector is suitable for treasure hunting at parks and beaches. The LCD target display and touchpad makes navigation and monitoring easy, and also provides an accurate estimation of depth. The automatic ground-trac technology allows the bounty hunter metal detector to penetrate the surface to detect treasures using both audio and visual signals. This microprocessor metal detector can detect coins up to 10 inches deep and larger objects up to four feet. The touchpad and four modes of operation are easy to use. Additional features include notch and auto notch modes, sensitivity control, and triple-tone discrimination. The comfortable hand grip, extended arm rest and headphone jack also comes handy. The training video helps you learn how to use the product.

    Bounty Hunter The Bounty Hunter 200 is an outstanding metal detector. Not only is the product around $50.00 less than the identical product from other retail/internet sources, it also comes with a carry bag, waist pouch, non-metalic shovel and most importantly, an electronic pinpointer. The pinpointer has helped find more dirt covered objects than using vision or touch. Overall, the detector itself is a great value and with the additional accessories, it's an exceptional Wal-Mart offering. 02/28/2010
    Great service! I was surprised how fast I received this product. I chose standard shipping and got it only 2 days later. The metal detector fulfills my expectations as far as metal, but it does not detect gold. 12/10/2009
    202 ~ not a bad buy. I like the notch and auto notch on this metal detector it seems to help eliminate some of the pull tabs. It's depth indicator and coin identifier aren't real accurate. I had a good hit as a quarter 6 inches down it ended up being a aluminum can top that was 3 inches in diameter.I have found coins with it some times its right on. found a 1909 Liberty V nickel at a park.I don't like the push together frame it is very hard to get the upper sections together and it doesn't fit in the bag with the sections together.Pin pointer is a pain due to the battery cover falling off all the time Duck Tape is about the only solution to that. Save some money and just buy the detector. 07/29/2010
    Better than Expected I recently purchased the Bounty Hunter Pioneer 202 with pinpointer finders pouch and detector bag. I'm new to the hobby but have already found numerous coins even a few of them being silver. This detector is very accurate on both depth and denomination of coins i've found. The training DVD is very helpful in by showing the different features and how to adjust them.The only downfall to this package is the digging tool is ok for soft ground only, you may want to purchase a stronger digging tool made of metal. 07/29/2010
